Aeris

Aeris Windchaser, a native of redwood forests, was a lion-sized gryphon resembling a cross between a gyrfalcon and a harpy eagle. Once a member of the Royal Special Forces (as evidenced by the permanently bleached, green-dyed feather tips of the gryphon's primaries), Aeris became a mercenary excelling at counter-insurgency and guerilla warfare techniques.
