Horse

Horse - every gryphon's favourite food. Horses come in two flavours: stallions and mares, the latter are better because it's possible to play with them before dinner, if the mare is then spared the possible outcome is a hippogriff. Other horse-relatives are: unicorns, pegasi, centaurs, hippocampi.

Horses are in general nice and quiet herbivores, and hunting them isn't much of a challenge. However, there are rumours (usually considered myths) that some equine Guilders are more than capable of fending off literally dozens of hungry gryphs at a time, with super-cool ninja moves that would put Bruce Lee to shame. A special case are racing horses: some nutrition experts claim that fast food is not healthy. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference between the regular type, and the kind that will yell at you if you bite them.
